There is no better way to start a sumptuous meal than to start it with a Halaan Soup.  This is something that will make you feel comfortable specially when the weather is cold. Clams are abundant everywhere in our country but what is rare is those who know how to cook it deliciously.  What I like about halaan soup is that, you have a soup at the same time, you have clams to nibble on.  That is what I do to make my soup trip an extra special experience.  Every time I visit Ocho Seafood and Grill, this is always the first on my list. I like it there because they serve it steamingly hot and their clams are always fresh catch. Best to have a prepared condiment of chilis, calamansi ang soy.

YOU can find this Halaan Soup at Ocho Seafood and Grill. It is   located at Sen. Enage st. downtown Tacloban city.  They have an ample stock of live clams and you may also ask for other ways in cooking the clams the way you like it. That is one reason I always go back to Ocho. THey serve good food and the service is ultra fast.
