Nachos and Burritos

September 23, 2009

Isn’t it wonderful if you have a training and the food that is being served is not the usual sandwich and coffee but, you’ll have Burritos and Nachos instead?  Yes my fellow foodies, that is one reason to have a training at MMLDC.  Not only that they provide a very good venue that is conducive to learning but they also serve food satisfying to your taste buds and stomach.  MMLC never failed my expectation when it comes to good food, corporate standard and friendly people.  The only thing that set me back is after eating and the siesta time of 1:00 to 2:00pm.  After eating their fantastic food, plus the good cooling system of the area, it will hypnotize you to a deep sleep.

Thanks to the overflowing coffee and Kutchinta  that will surely perk you up every time your sleepy head falls down.

Where to Find

You can have the Burritos and Nachos of MMLDC at Antipolo City. It is near Assumption Antipolo along Sumulong highway.  The restaurant that serve this is Areva. You can also go to the place for lunch and dinner. It’s a different dining experience specially when all you can see are trees and fauna to which the place is plentiful.  Try it and visit the place. Both the food and the ambiance will not fail you.

Burritos by Nanette’s Snack Haus

March 2, 2009

Burritos anyone?  In the Philippines, this Mexican food is not common outside the mall, but you can still find one if you are really persistent in looking for it.  This is no common burritos because it has been in existence even before the EDSA Revolution.  Nanette’s Snack Haus has been serving Burritos as early as 1985.  They use beef chunks unlike the commercial burritos that uses ground beef.  Great snack for those who crave Tex-Mex food.  It goes very well with their hot sauce.

Where to find

Nanettes’ Snack Haus can be found inside Teachers Village along Maginhawa st., Diliman Q.C.  The land mark is Mini Stops.  They also serve different merienda foods. But what reach catches my attention is their Burritos.  Everytime I have a craving for this fantastic merienda, I drop by Nanettes Snack Haus to have their famous Burritos. Arriba Rapsa, Arriba!!!
